Dear Fred,
How time flies! In the late June this year, you left Nanjing where you had been living in for five consecutive years. I half expected that you had graduated. But surprisingly, you came back to Nanjing, China again recently and will continue to study here. As the founder and organizer of Nanjing Reading&Sharing Book Club, you will resume the activities, I look forward to joining them again. In this fast-paced society, reading books is a good habit, I ought to keep it! What an open-minded and kind-hearted person you are! On account of the book club, I have known some excellent kindred spirits. Thank you very much!
I collect five photos to recollect the total five times we met with each other in various activies and one photo to characterize the way you read a book.
P1: The first time I met with you was on a sunny dusk of October 23, 2022. We took part in Xianlin English Corner activity organized by Betty in the lawn of Yangshan Park.
P2: On the afternoon of November 19, 2022. We met again at Fuzimiao Banxianshiguangji. You were the only foreign friend joining the book club.
P3: On the afternoon of March 31, 2023. We encountered with each other in Jinyinjie, the backstreet of NJU.
P4: On the afternoon of May 14, 2023. We crossed paths in the activity held at Xiamafang organized by FTA and Nanjing Reading&Sharing Club.
P5: On the afternoon of June 16, 2023. We watched performance in Nanjing Institute of Intangible Cultural Heritage together. Later on, we talked a lot at coach on the way back.
P6: On the afternoon of May 14, 2023. I captured your reading a book on a hammock at Xiamafang.
